DIY Invites

So I have been looking at hand making my wedding invitations and I think I have found the style that I like!

I would love a vintage home-made wedding, this has become the latest trend, but I aim to put as much of me and my husband-to-be's personality into it.

So... it is a horrid rainy day, and what did I decide to do... design my wedding invitations!
A couple of weeks ago I bought this beautiful Cath Kidston wrapping paper. My original plan was to use wallpaper, it is heavy duty and plain on the inside, but once I saw this double sided paper I knew it would look fab!
And found this lovely pattern on Pinterest. Draw out your template on light card and make sure to fold along the lines, this makes it easier to fold the invitation once you have cut out the paper you want to use.
I drew around the template on the lighter side in pencil.
Don't they look pretty already!
Fold along the sides.
Now fold the top of the heart down.
Now fold in half, you'll see that it is looking like an envelope.
Just stick down the triangle and put your address label on it!
